Let's take a second look. IBCLC support for moms who have already seen other providers and still don't have answers.
If you feel defeated, desperate, or just done guessing, you're in the right place.
Sometimes there's more than one problem: a tie, plus gas, plus slow weight gain, plus a supply that keeps dropping. A quick latch fix won't solve all of that. You need someone who looks at the whole picture. That means your history, your baby's mouth and suck, what a feed really looks like, and everything you've already tried.
That's the work I love. When you come to me, we don't start over. We start from where you are.
A full feeding assessment. I look at mom, baby and the whole feeding routine together, not one piece at a time.
Tongue and lip tie assessment and aftercare. That includes help relearning to latch after a release, and figuring out why things haven't gotten better.
Supply and weight gain. We make a plan that protects your milk and your baby's growth.
Breast and bottle refusal. I help with nursing strikes, refusing one side, and babies who won't take a bottle.
Getting off the nipple shield. When you're ready, we work step by step toward latching without it.
Working with your team. I'm happy to coordinate with your pediatrician, pediatric dentist, midwife or doula.
Maybe you want to exclusively breastfeed. Maybe you want to nurse once or twice a day and supplement the rest. Maybe you want to feed pumped milk by bottle. Whatever your goal is, we'll build the plan around what you want for your family.
I've already seen a lactation consultant. How is this different?
Most of the moms I see for complex cases have already had help somewhere else. I spend the time to find out why things haven't improved, not just repeat the same advice.
Is it too late?
Not always. Nursing strikes, low supply and refusal can often be worked through, even weeks or months in. Reach out and we'll talk about what's realistic for you.
My baby's tie was already released. Can you still help?
Yes. Many babies need help learning to latch again after a release. That aftercare is a big part of what I do.
What does it cost?
I offer single visits and packages, and we'll choose what fits your situation and budget together.
Tell me what's happening and what you've already tried. I'll help you find the next step.
